Business Hours
We are open for food distribution on Thursdays from 2-5 PM. When you drive up to the Pikeville location park your car. We would appreciate it if only one member of each family comes into the food bank. You will be directed to the registration desk and your information will be checked. Make sure you have your picture ID. You then will go down a line where you can choose the food you want in your box. Make sure you have room in your car for the boxes of food.
We now have 3 distribution sites: Pikeville, Sampson Free Will Baptist Church, and Frostbite House of Prayer. For information call us and we will get back to you as quickly as we can. If picking up food for another client please have their ID with you or we won’t be able to give you their food. You must have your picture ID when picking up food for yourself.
Our phone messages are monitored on a regular basis so if you have an emergency or need information on other distribution sites leave a message and we will get back with you.
Helping Our Cause
We are graciously supported by and grateful for donations from individuals, businesses, churches and grants. We are partnered with the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.
Donations take many forms … from canned goods to financial support but we would also like to provide fresh fruits and vegetables. If you or your organization would like to help us help our community, please come by the food bank Thursdays between 2 – 5 pm. Additionally, donations can be dropped off at the Kudzu Cottage at 2552 Main Street (opposite the fire department), Mon-Fri 9-5, and Sat 9-2.
Also feel free to contact us at 423-447-3325, and a representative from the food bank will return your call. Thank you!
Volunteers
Our team is made up entirely of volunteers. We advocate for those who need our help. Even a little help goes a long way.
We have a wonderful group of volunteers that are working for us.
And, we are always looking for new volunteers who share our commitment to doing good in the world. Do you want to support us by helping with our work? Then do not hesitate to contact us. A helping hand is always greatly appreciated!
